【摘要】:Thisstandardshallcoverfireprotectionrequirementsforpassengerrail,underground,surface,andelevatedfixedguidewaytransitsystems,includingtrainways,vehicles,fixedguidewaytransitstations,andvehiclemaintenanceandstorageareas,andforlifesafetyfromfireinfixedguidewaytransitstations,trainways,vehicles,andoutdoorvehiclemaintenanceandstorageareas.Fixedguidewaytransitstationsshallpertaintostationsaccommodatingonlypassengersandemployeesofthefixedguidewaytransitandpassengerrailsystemsandincidentaloccupanciesinthestations.Thisstandardestablishesminimumrequirementsforeachoftheidentifiedsubsystems.Thisstandardshallnotcoverrequirementsforthefollowing:(1)Conventionalfreightsystems(2)Busesandtrolleycoaches(3)Circustrains(4)Tourist,scenic,historic,orexcursionoperations(5)Anyothersystemoftransportationnotincludedinthedefinitionoffixedguidewaytransitsystem(see3.3.52.1)Totheextentwhereasystem,includingthoselistedin(1)through(5),introduceshazardsofanaturesimilartothoseaddressedherein,thisstandardshallbepermittedtobeusedasaguide.

【摘要】:Thedeterminationoftotalmoistureisimportantforassessingthequalityoffuels.Watercontentwillaffecttheheatingvalueoffuelsdirectlyandcancontributetoinstabilityintheoperationofanindustrialfurnace.Additionally,highwatercontentscanpresentmaterialhandlingandstorageproblemsduringwintermonthsorincoldenvironments.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationbyKarlFischer(KF)titrimetryoftotalmoistureinsolidorliquidhazardouswastefuelsusedbyindustrialfurnaces.1.2Thistestmethodhasbeenusedsuccessfullyonnumeroussamplesofhazardouswastefuelcomposedofsolvents,spentoils,paints,andpigments.Theexpectedrangeofapplicabilityforthistestmethodisbetween1.0and100%;however,thisevaluationwaslimitedtosamplescontainingapproximately5to50%water.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
