【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaprocedureforthedeterminationofthekinematicviscosityofmineralinsulatingoils,bothtransparentandopaque,atverylowtemperatures,afteracoldsoakingperiodofatleast20h,bymeasuringthetimeforavolumeofliquidtoflowundergravitythroughacalibratedglasscapillaryviscometer.ItisapplicableatalltemperaturestobothNewtonianandnon-Newtonianliquidshavingviscositiesofupto20000mm×s.Itisparticularlysuitableforthemeasurementofthekinematicviscosityofliquidsforuseincoldclimates,atverylowtemperatures(-40℃)orattemperaturesbetweenthecloudandpour-pointtemperatures(typically-20℃)wheresomeliquidsmaydevelopunexpectedlyhighviscositiesundercoldsoakconditions.
