【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtoestimatethespeedofdrainageandtherateofproductionofproductsfromthefiberevaluated,inindustrialapplications.Itmaybeappliedtosinglegradesoffiber,ortofiberblends,togetherwiththesamebindersystemandprocesswaterusedintheprocessunderevaluation.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesalaboratoryprocedurefortheevaluationofasbestosfiberbymeasuringtherateofdrainageundersuction,ofanasbestos-cementmixture.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Warningx2014;Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,refertox201C;SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures.x201D;1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeNote1and1.3forspecifichazardwarnings.
